Mirela Cernaianu, M.D.

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Cernaianu began her medical journey at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, where she completed her medical degree.

Following her internship and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at University Hospital Bucharest, she continued her academic pursuits as a clinic instructor and Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Hospital in Bucharest. 

After relocating to New Orleans, Dr. Cernaianu completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University, becoming the first foreign medical graduate to be admitted to the program. Her passion for comprehensive care and a holistic approach led her to pursue multiple board certifications, including the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine/Regenerative Medicine, and the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. 

She further enhanced her expertise through a Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. With a rich background in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Cernaianu has served in various medical institutions throughout her career. She held the prestigious position of Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, California. Additionally, she dedicated more than a decade of her professional life to providing holistic health services at Clinicas del Camino Real in Ventura County.
