Meet Dr. Mirela Cernaianu, the visionary behind Hera Beauty & Wellness, where modern medicine meets a holistic approach to health. As a board-certified physician with over three decades of professional experience, “Dr. C”, as her patients call her, made history as the first foreign graduate admitted to the LSU medical program in 1997. After she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology, she started her OB/GYN practice in Miami Florida where she worked for 2 years, and then moved to sunny beautiful So Cal, where she has been since 2003. Throughout her career, she has been fueled by a passion for providing high-quality, personalized care to every patient, ultimately leading her to open her own practice: Hera Health Care.

Dr. Cernaianu opened Hera Beauty & Wellness, so that she could provide compassionate and holistic medical care that reflects her own values. Women living in and around Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks California appreciate Dr. Cernaianu’s focus on their individual and unique needs. Her willingness to take the time to each patient and motivate them, allows them to achieve and maintain vitality and wellness.

She takes her holistic principles seriously and is a trained 500 hour certified YOGA Teacher. She practices yoga almost daily, loves to cook healthy meals from scratch, and plays with her beloved dog Scarlett - who you might see in the office.
